Spend your days exploring the Bay of Islands, walk to historic Waitangi, take a ferry to Russell or a tour to
90 Mile beach. Swim with the dolphins, visit the mighty Kauri trees, play a round of golf, walk our picturesque
walkways, sail, dive, kayak or just laze at one of the many sandy beaches just a stroll from us.
You may just decide to relax on your balcony and read a book, watch yachts and ferries sail past, swim in
our heated pool, soak in the hot spa or work out at the gym. What better way to re-charge the batteries?
Lush greenery and flowers accentuate our setting. Bird lovers will be thrilled with lots of native birds
visiting our garden & surroundings. Our small hobby farm with pet goats, rabbits, doves etc. form part of
the landscape surrounding Chalet Romantica.
From Chalet Romantica it's only a stroll down to the beach, to all Cruise departure piers and town center.
On the way you'll pass several excellent restaurants, brasseries, bars and cafes serving the freshest seafood,
and tasty local produce.
Chalet Romantica's luxury 42ft catalina charter yacht is available with Ed as the skipper. Choose
between a private day or overnight charter, both including delicious food and fine New Zealand wines.
Ed will be happy to let you assist him in sailing the boat or you may just sit back and enjoy-whatever
